Pathfinder

Pathfinder is an open-source project and (in combination with MonetDB) is hosted at Sourceforge. It is available for a large number of plattforms, including Linux (32 and 64 bits), Windows® (NT, 2000, XP, Server 2003), and MacOS X.

MonetDB/XQuery

MonetDB/XQuery is Pathfinder bundled together with MonetDB and provides a complete XQuery processor. Please get your copy from the download page at http://monetdb-xquery.org. At monetdb-xquery.org you will furthermore find documentation and tutorials to get your first queries running.

SQL Code Generator

The SQL Code Generator is part of the Pathfinder code base and thus does not need the MonetDB back-end. Starting from the next release — coming soon — you can get your copy of Pathfinder (enhanced with the SQL Code Generator) either at the Sourceforge download page or download the pathfinder_missing.msi Windows® installer or the pathfinder_missing.tar.gz Linux Source Tarball.

At the SQL Code Generator page you will soon find additional information on how to evaluate XQuery queries on your favorite SQL-based back-end.

(Note that the MonetDB/XQuery installation also contains the SQL Code Generator.)
